As per clause No (3) from Ministerial order number 1 for the year 2017 for Taxi and call taxi, license issuance is via an auction. In order to obtain the Taxi / Call Taxi license, applicants (companies) need to obtain the minimum number of Operating Cards via auction and provide all the other requirements as per the Ministerial Order. In cooperation with Mazad W.L.L, the Ministry auctions Taxi operating cards regularly through their online auction system “Arabian Auction”.
