His Excellency Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation, paid a visit to Bahrain International Airport to oversee the preparations taken by the airport in welcoming the Formula 1 fans who will be part of the huge audience at this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, joining Bahraini fans at this exciting annual event at the Bahrain International Circuit.

His Excellency reaffirmed the Ministry of Transportation’s Civil Aviation Affairs emphasis on providing top-quality services to incoming passengers to ensure their quick and hassle-free movement through the Airport. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the Airport staff are equipped with the tools and skills required to exercise high professionalism and customer service, in order to reflect the Kingdom’s open and hospitable nature.

Upon visiting the relevant sections of the Airport, His Excellency expressed his confidence in the Kingdom’s readiness to welcome the visiting fans in keeping with true Bahraini hospitality. In addition, he also stated that visitors requiring information, assistance and other services during their short stay in Bahrain should be able to access such services easily.

His Excellency expressed his hope that all relevant authorities cooperate jointly to contribute to the success of this important annual sporting event, through providing top quality services and easing transactions, thereby leveraging this opportunity to promote and showcase all of the assets Bahrain has to offer to a global audience, first and foremost of which is the national human talent that will drive the success of this event.
